+ How do I find my size of waist beads?

When purchasing waist beads it is very important that you have accurate waist measurements.

→ You will need a flexible measuring tape

Before taking your measurements remove or lower clothing.

→ Measuring on top of clothing, sucking in your stomach, not standing up straight and/or holding your breath will produce inaccurate measurements.*

Measuring in inches, place the measuring tape directly around the area of your torso where you would like the waist bead strand to sit. The measuring tape should be inflexibly fit, yet comfortable against your bare skin.

→ Tape measure should not be digging into your skin*

Read The measurement: → Look at the number on the tap measure where it meets the starting point. This is your waist measurement. Double Check for accuracy.*

+ How To Tie Your Waist Beads?

Measure and Position:

→ Wrap the waist bead around your waist placing them wear you want them to sit. Using a mirror can be beneficial during this process.

Adjust and The Beads: → Move around beads to fit to your waist. There should not be any gaps or spaces in between any of the beads. Make sure you are allowing space for movement and Natural bloating. Also make sure that you are breathing normal and not sucking in.

Tie The Knot: → Take your time securing the first knot. Thenafter, complete 3-4 additional knots for security.

Trim The Excess String: → Trim any excess string, leaving a small tail to ensure the knot doesn't unravel.

Burn Or Glue your end (Optional):

*You can repurpose any unused beads into an anklet or bracelet. *

+ Can I wear multiple waist beads at the same time?

You can decide your comfortability level with how many strands you place on your waist.There is not a right or wrong number.

+ What color waist bead should I wear?

Wearing waist beads with intention is highly suggested.Different colors carry different meanings.

+ Can Anyone Wear Waist Beads?

Yes, anyone can wear waist beads regardless of gender, age, or cultural background. While waist beads have deep roots in African culture and hold various traditonal and spiritual significances, they can also be appreciated and worn with respect and understanding of cultural differences.

+ I am plus-size. Do you have anything for me?

Absolutely! Each waist bead strand is handcrafted to order. On each of the products there's a drop down menu offering 50 Inch(Standard) and 60 Inch (Extended) waist bead strands. If you are in need of a waist bead strand longer than 60 inches please add the length request in the pop up dialogue box.

Please note that length request over 65 inches will require a one time verification of waist. This action has been put in place to eliminate abuse of extra length request. If you fall within this category an email will be sent to you within 24 hrs of your purchase.

+ When will my order come?

Orders are usually shipped out between 3-5 business days. During the summer and holiday season shipment timeframe can take 7-14 business days.

American Express, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover payments are currently accepted. Afterpay is also available.

+ How long will my waist beads last?

There is no way possible for me to estimate how long a strand may last but I can guarentee that they are created for long term wear.

+ Do the color of the beads fade?

Tie on strands remain on your waist during daily activities including bathing. So naturally over time some beads may fade. But, I assure Beeutifulvibes use quality beads for all pieces.

+ Can waist beads be shown?

Waist beads can be shown or kept private, depending on personal preference and cultural practices.In some tradions, they are considered intimate and are meant to be seen only by the wearer and their partner. Ultimately the choice to show or hide the waist bead is up to the individual wearing them.

+ How often should I change out my waist beads?

That’s totally up to the wearer of the waist bead. Some people interchange their waist beads based on intentions. While others may choose to keep them on for years.

+ What will waist beads do for me ?

The question should be “What are you willing to do for your waist beads?” Waist beads govern self awareness and accountability. Are you willing to listen to your body natural reaction to daily activities? Are you ready to love and accept your body during whatever season you may be in? Your waist bead journey can only reflect your personal intentions and consistency.

+ My “tie-on” waist bead strand popped. Can I return it or can you fix it?
